Laboko, Inc. is based in Saitama City, Saitama, and has a joint research system with Gunma University. We support research and development of Microphysiological System (MPS), which are alternatives to animal testing. Currently we are developing molding (processing) techniques for quick and affordable microfluidic chips. This processing technology is based on soft lithography methods, and it would be possible to make plastic microfluidic chips with any design on demand. We offer prototype production in “small batch” from material selection to molding, which can accelerate the cycle of process from fabrication to experimental validation. We also work on developing devices using microfluidic chips by realizing an agile fabrication process toward practical application. We are sure our devices will help promote basic research. We have many years of experience and relevant knowledge in both cell engineering and microfluidics, with a broad network of people across industries. We tackle the challenges that university researchers have and aim to “ideal experiments possible”.
